Rebecca Batt

Rebecca is an RGN/RSCN and has a BSc (Hons) in Paediatric Intensive Care Nursing. She worked at Great Ormond Street and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and was a Practice Educator in PICU before becoming a Nurse Specialist at Asthma UK. She began her career in allergy in 2007 when she became a Paediatric Allergy CNS at King’s College Hospital.

Katherine Knight

Katherine qualified as a children’s nurse at the Nightingale Institute in 1998. She worked at St Thomas’s hospital initially before moving on to a ward sister post then community children’s nursing. It was in this role that she led on the development of an at home acute asthma service and developed an interest in asthma and allergy.    

Rubaiyat Haque

Dr Rubaiyat Haque is a Clinical Lead for Adult Allergy from Guy’s Hospital.

Dr Alexandra Santos

Alexandra F. Santos is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and MRC Clinician Scientist at King’s College London and an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Allergy at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Alexandra qualified in Medicine from the University of Coimbra and completed a PhD in Allergy and Immunology at King's College London, supervised by Professor Gideon Lack. The focuses of her thesis were diagnostic markers of clinical allergy versus sensitisation to peanut, including the basophil activation test, IgE and IgG4 testing.
