
Stallergenes is a European biopharmaceutical company specialised in the treatment of severe respiratory allergies by allergen immunotherapy. Stallergenes established sublingual immunotherapy where it remains a world leader. Since 2003 the company is committed to the Stalair development programme, creating a new therapeutic class that covers 80% of respiratory allergies. Stallergenes sales totalled Euro 216 million in 2010. The group has averaged 15% annual growth in sales since 2000. The 2009 Research and Development spend represented 24% of sales. Over 850 people now work at Stallergenes and the company’s products treat almost 500,000 patients a year.
