Practical Allergy in Primary Care Day - Tuesday 1st May
The Allergy Academy has been providing high quality, accessible allergy education for the last 4 years. This will be our 5th year of providing study days for general practitioners. Allergic disease has increased dramatically over the last 20 to 30 years and GPs are ideally placed to manage this surge of disease which affects multiple organ systems: gastrointestinal, skin, respiratory and ENT. It is crucial that GPs are therefore equipped and up-to-date with regard to current management of allergies, as an essential front-line service for patients.
This interactive study afternoon will take a practical look at the management of a wide range of allergic disease in primary care with the aim of increasing knowledge and confidence when advising patients. A variety of talks will be delivered by some of the UK’s leading allergy experts.
