Study Day for Non-Health Care Professionals - TUESDAY 2nd October 2012
Allergic disease is on the increase. A significant number of people are living with food allergy, eczema, hay-fever and asthma. The King’s College Allergy Academy has been educating health care professionals for the last 5 years but we believe that it is essential that non-health care professionals are also well informed regarding allergic diseases which may be encountered in many different walks of life. This study day is targeted at people with no health care background and aims to improve knowledge regarding what constitutes an allergy, the impact on patients and their families, what are facts and what are myths and know when to seek advice. We are pleased to welcome some of the UK’s leading allergists to talk on this interesting and interactive study day.
