Allergy for Pharmacists, Tuesday 4th October 2011

Allergy Academy are very excited to announce their first ever study day for pharmacists.  Allergic disease has increased dramatically over the last 20 to 30 years.  It is a multi-system illness including food allergy, eczema, allergic rhinitis and asthma.  It is crucial that community pharmacists are equipped to manage this tidal-wave of allergies, as an essential front-line service for patients.

This day will take a very practical look at the community-based, pharmaceutical management of an extensive range of allergic diseases with the aim of increasing knowledge and confidence when advising patients in a pharmacy setting.  A variety of interactive talks, as well as hands-on, practical break-out sessions, will be delivered by some of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical and allergy experts.
